Kaohsiung Lighthouse

Kaohsiung Lighthouse:

Kaohsiung Lighthouse, also known as Cihou Lighthouse, is located on Cijin Island in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Built in 1883 during the Qing Dynasty, it was later renovated during the Japanese colonial period. The lighthouse sits atop Cihou Mountain, offering panoramic views of Kaohsiung Harbor and the surrounding area. Its white tower and historical architecture make it a popular tourist spot. The lighthouse once played a crucial role in guiding ships safely into the busy port of Kaohsiung and is now a symbol of the city’s maritime heritage.
